The Hillcrest Estate is donating a private, murder mystery-themed dinner party (valued at $1,500) for 8-12 guests at our mansion. This unique experience is valid for either January 23, 24, 30, or 31 of 2026, and includes a private party planned and coordinated by The Hillcrest Estate, dinner provided by The Yard of Ale Restaurant, and beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. Special Note: This experience is available for two winning bidders. Backup bidder also WINS! The first winner will receive their choice of date, and the runner-up (and anyone thereafter, if the runner-up is unavailable) will be offered the alternative available date. Here is how it works: The winning bidder will work with our Event Manager to invite a total of seven to eleven friends to join you as Gatsby-inspired characters for this unforgettable dinner experience. Guests will receive a formal invitation and character description prior to the party. The night will unfold as follows: 1. Upon arrival, your host (Hillcrest Estate Event Manager) will explain the evenings objectives and how the night will unfold. 2. Enjoy a drink, mingle with your guests, and start sleuthing. 3. Savor an elegant dinner (donated by The Yard of Ale Restaurant) while witnessing a surprise murder. 4. Investigate the murder, review the evidence, and submit your accusation form with your best guess. 5. The killer is revealed ? and a killer time is had by all! Overnight accommodations at the mansion are available for an additional charge if you and your group want to stay the night in one of our six suites.
